Since the beginning of this year God has been touching me and changing me, but I have been especially touched and changed the past three weeks of the RBI/RSW revival. I am so happy I decided to come to RSW this year. The impartation from all of the pastors preaching and teaching during the student revival has been epic and life changing. God has been dealing with my heart a lot, taking out what is not of him and filling me up with more of him. I have been crying out in desperation for his touch, guidance and most importantly his fire so that I may be better equipped to fulfill the call of God on my life. As I have been seeking him he has been revealing himself to me and showing me the plans for my future.

Right before school was starting I was not exactly sure if I was going to follow through with attending school or not. I was currently finishing up my Associates Degree at a public college and thought that I should focus on that first before I attend RSW. However, I know that God has greater plans for my life than just some college degree. I was striving to get all this education so that I could start my own business and set my self up to be financially successful for the future. As I have been pressing in and developing a closer relationship with Jesus those desires to be what the world calls “successful” have been taken out of my heart completely. My heart now burns with the fire of God and all I want is more of him.

I know I am called to the full time ministry and to minister through praise and worship and I believe that I am in a time of preparation for what God has planned for me. My hearts sole desire is to please him and do what he has called me to do, to share the gospel and his love with the world. I know God has so much in store for me this year and I am so excited to learn more about praise and worship and to develop a better understanding of who Jesus really is and a more intimate relationship with him so that I can share him with others. He has been overwhelming me with his unending love and his peace that passes all understanding and he has been breaking my heart for souls. I know for sure that I am right where God wants me to be, in the right place at the right time. – Alicia G.

On Sunday night God did a major work in my heart. It’s amazing how sometimes we think we’ve dealt with things in our lives when really we’ve just suppressed them. As I sat there in the evening service I just began to yield to the Holy Spirit, and I didn’t exactly realize what was happening, but things He wanted to work on in my life began to draw to the surface. I felt what was like electricity on me. Pastor Rodney gave an altar call for those whose wells had been blocked up, which is exactly what I knew had happened to me.

As hands were laid on me the power of God came on me very strongly and it felt like the Lord was just pulling stuff out of me. It’s impossible to put into words how incredible the Presence of God is! I know that was a major breakthrough because I felt different when I went home. I’m beginning to see how yielding to the Holy Spirit is really a matter of trusting Him, and then He can do the work He wants to do. He is so good – I am so thankful for His precious, wonderful Presence! -Victoria D

God has been doing some really awesome things through out the past week, and especially even more over this entire month. This is just the beginning of the great awakening we are going to see completely shake all of America. I am so glad that I got to be a part of it. I stayed home on Monday night and watched part of the service’s live broadcast on the television. I was watching the three teenagers from Missouri give all their testimonies from when they went soul winning, for the first time ever, and it completely pushed me to go soul winning right then and there.

Seeing their passion made my passion well up all over again. Today, (01/28/11) is officially one of the top five days I have had in my entire life. I got filled with the joy and I danced before my Lord like never before. Usually I get tired after dancing for only a few minutes but today I was so strengthened. I danced for around forty five minutes without being tired. I asked God specifically for strength last night for today. The joy of the Lord truly is my strength. I am so blessed to be involved in everything that is going on.

Being in the very center, the eye, of every thing that is going on at Revival Ministries International, which is affecting all of America, and many other parts of the world, is such a blessing. I am so thankful that God chose me to be one of the people to be a part of this all. Every one MUST experience the fire of God. America will be shaken by the power and fire of God and it is starting right here at The River of Tampa Bay!  -Rachel P.

This past week at the Great Awakening Broadcast we saw the wonderful works of God with many people having awesome experiences with God the living God. There were people testifying on the internet of how God has touched them and how they caught the passion to go and reach out to people who need to be saved from the current condition in their lives.

And God is faithful! He will come through! He always does! He will and does save and heal and deliver those who call on him! Jesus’ work on the cross did not happen in vain; it was and is a full work he took care of all of our sin! No sin left unforgiven. Nothing left in the dark. He comes and touches and heals everything!  And his power is available to all! And there is nothing he cannot do. No one who is too far gone he cannot save! His hand is not too short! His love never fails! God is good he is not evil he will save!

Rodney talked about how religion will fail you but God will never fail you through Jesus Christ! For Jesus said he is the way and no man shall come to the Father but by Him! And those who are truly his come with complete surrender holding nothing back! For he is worthy! Worthy of all worship, honor, praise worship and adoration forever! Amen!

Rodney also talked about how America needs to come back to God fully, returning to Him as their first love, not just as a secondary supplement to their lives or using him as a crutch just to get by, but as their Savior! The all powerful God who can do anything as Jesus said in Mathew 2:22 that “If you believe you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.”! He saves, now and always.  –Dennis M.

The first night during the service I was asked to help on the Great Awakening prayer line. I had never been in the call center during any meetings before. I was totally blown away as people called in for prayer who were already under the power of God, saying that as they sat there watching the service they began shaking and weeping. One lady called crying under the power of God who had just answered the altar call Pastor Rodney gave, standing in front of her TV. She already had been saved but she felt the conviction of the Holy Spirit and wanted to come back to her first love. One lady who had never received the Baptism in the Holy Spirit prayed to receive it and began speaking in tongues. Another night while praying with a lady who needed healing in her back, I asked her to take a step of faith and do something she couldn’t do before. She felt a warmth in her back and said there was no more pain! For me, one of the most impacting calls this week was from someone who called in awe of what was happening. He kept saying things like “You guys really have the real thing!” As he watched he didn’t know what was happening to him but he found himself shaking all over and crying. He said that he and his friends didn’t want to be in the occult anymore! The connection on the phone was lost but he called back and another prayer partner got to pray the prayer of salvation with him and his friends. It is mind-blowing how the Lord is touching and saving people from all walks of life right in their homes!!-Victoria D.

The Great Awakening is not just another TV-show but it is a life changing fire spreading throughout America and the rest of the world! This first week of the Great Awakening services hasn’t just had an impact on the local church here at The River at Tampa Bay but it has had a great impact in all the homes that it is reaching. The journey of this fire doesn’t end in the church and the homes that are watching by TV or Internet, it continues to people across the globe as all these people that are getting revived and set on fire again for God, are spreading the good news of Jesus Christ. Now all these people that are getting a revelation of our first commandment to go out and preach the gospel, are winning souls for the Lord. Peoples lives all over America and all over the world are getting changed and saved. This fire of God is spreading fast and there is no end to it! It is the presence of God touching the lives of thousands of people. It is a tangible presence that is creating an even greater hunger for the power of God and for it to spread like never before. This fire is a soul winning passion dropping down in peoples hearts, a passion and a need for other people to make the most important decision of their lives, to accept Jesus into their hearts. This fire creates a hunger and a need for God and His glory to surround and dwell in their lives, to come back to their first love and passion for Jesus. To once again get the revelation of what Jesus did for them on the cross. This Great Awakening is the fire of God spreading fast and every second it is making an eternal difference.-Sara B.

Sunday December 13th 2009 was the first of our two Christmas outreaches. It was such an anointed day of lives being changed and people getting touched by the fire of God. I was ushering that day and it was awesome just to see the joy on the peoples face when you welcome them to the River and find a nice seat for them. Its awesome because I am on the front lines in the neighborhoods soul winning and telling people about the church. It just touches you to see the fruit of your labor. When you get to build a relationship with those people in the neighbor hoods that come to the church and you see them walk in the door it just touches your heart. Sunday there was just an awesome move of the spirit. This harvest is great, there were hundreds at the altar call there to give there lives to the Lord because we all know that the Bible says, that the gift of salvation is free, for whosoever who shall call upon the name of the Lord SHALL BE SAVED!!! ( SOULS ) This is what it’s all about souls. That is the only thing we can bring to heaven on our account. But every Sunday when I see the massive harvest that we have, it’s just a great blessing to me. This ministry has totally changed my life, and brought me out the world and into God’s FIRE!!! and now I am totally sold out for Christ. The main event is an awesome time to just press into the presence of God, and the River ministry is an amazing group of people without all the members of the church and the school we could not do this, but we have the most amazing group of sold out people in the River At Tampa Bay that make this ministry possible.

I can not be in a hurry and try to move out a head of God. I must actively use the time of preparation. Jesus was in preparation for 30 years for 3.5 years in the ministry. God was growing Jesus and fashioning Him for His earthly ministry. This encouraged me because I am still struggling with dying to my own self will and want and only doing what God wants me to do for my life. Knowing that preparation time is never wasted time has helped me to relax on my own ambitions and stop trying to accomplish things in the flesh and allow the Holy Spirit lead me to do what God has called me to do. In the Old Covenant, the four elements needed for the atonement of sins of the people were: the priest, the sacrifice, man and God. If any were missing or were not as they should be, God would not accept the sacrifice. If the priest had anything unholy in his life or if the sacrifice was imperfect, God would not approve of the atonement. What is amazing about the new covenant, is that Jesus was all four of the elements; He is our high priest, He is the sacrifice, He was a man, and He is God. There is nothing that can go wrong with the new covenant, because Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever. And in the new covenant, our sins are remitted, not just covered. This brought a fuller knowledge of why the New Covenant is so much better than the Old Covenant, and what Jesus did on the cross for me. I must have an encounter with the Holy Ghost or I will stray from God. I must be continually pressing into God and reading the Word or I will get off track. Sometimes we have to walk through the fire or go through certain situations to destroy our enemies and not only to get the impurities out of me. The three Hebrews children went the fire to kill their enemies. The Israelites went through the Red Sea to drown the Egyptians. Those who are against me, will fail in their attempts to stop me as long as I am in the will of God for my life and am following His plans.
