I arrived with no place to stay and the Lord blessed me with a nice house that is 5 min. from the church with two roommates. The rent on my room is only $365 a month. I paid $385 for just one week when I arrived at the extended stay motel. I also got the master bedroom with my own bath. My new landlord called me on my last day in the extended motel so I was able to move my things into my new room the next day.

My awareness of the anointing has increased and my boldness level has increased since I have arrived at the River. I have got to learn to tap into the anointing for strength in my body. I know that if I can drop 50 lbs. off my temple I will be able to run the race that the Lord has called me to run. I am also finding out that I must pray in tongues more for strength in my body and for wisdom so I will know my next step. I must have the Fire of God in my life every day or I will not be the vessel that the Lord can use to set the people free. I got to have more of the Fire of God….Gary C.

When I first got here I was ready to go back home but then when, I was touched by the power of God everything changed. God was doing a work on my heart. Ever since that day I just have been pressing in to what God has for me. I been getting downloads from heavens and releasing the power of God. When the power of God touched me I was like a vibrator. The fire of God was shooting through my bones. One Thing God Cleary told me was, “I touch you it the power so that you can release that same power, I touch you with.” So I went in the streets and release the power of God on these three young ladies and it hit he woman downstairs from us.

The power of God has changed so many lives including mines, the power of God just made me want to do and seek him more. Since I have been growing, I have just been plugging into everything of God. I see it clearly now. I thought I had it all to gather but God has been changing my heart. He has been burning things out of me and filling me with things of him. My mindset has changed since being hit with the power of God. It’s about seeing nations shaken people getting delivered people getting healed people getting set free souls getting snatch out of hell and raising up revivalist for the kingdom of God….Deon B.

I’m a second year student, now attending River School of Worship and like always being under the fire here at RMI has cause such a growth in my walk with Christ. I can once again say I will never be the same. There has been such a transformation on the inside of me that has caused a fire that is impossible to put out.  I walk as if I’ve been dipped in gasoline and set a blaze, and ever where I go I walk with this look on my face. A look every devil in hell knows, as if they have a plaque on one of hell’s walls of the most dangerous Christians on earth.

It’s this confident look, this Holy boldness kind of look, the kind of look you can only get being in the presence of God. I’ve had every devil and they mama trying to  come at me with obstacles and distractions, but what they must be forgetting is I’m walking with the King of Kings and they come like door mats and I walk all over them. So much has change and just in this short time from boldness, to patients and a breakthrough in giving. I’m developing this faith inside to live off my giving and nothing else.

Trusting in the Lord completely and honoring him with my mind, will and emotions. I’ve come to a point in my relationship with my heavenly father to know exactly what it means to live as Christ to die is gain. What it means as said in Colossians chapter 3 that if YE then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.  As well as how verse 3 of the same chapter saying for ye are dead and your life is hid with Christ in God. So far this year has over passed anything I could imagine and I’m happy to say I’m living for Christ with all of me. He has giving me many visions and ideas, but I must keep my vision on the one who gave me these visions and ideas and his name is Jesus Christ.

So this is my testimony of how coming to the River Bible School has helped me so far. A member who goes to the River Church presented the idea for me to go and so I thought to myself wow I never thought about doing that. I had alot going on and for the time put in on the back burner in my life. Well it kept coming to my mind about my going and was something I couldn’t get off my mind. Mean while I was attending the River church and kept being told by my friend that I needed to go to the school. The thought of coming scared me but excited me. I was scared to step out of my comfort zone and do things that I hadn’t done before yet. I was trying to trust God since I had changed churches but was struggling with not having my friends there. I was struggling with my relationship with God and had been for a while.

I then decide that I wanted a full relationship with God and not a half hearted one. I was praying God if it’s meant for me to go to the River School then the door will be open for me to go and if not then the door will be closed. So I prayed and asked God how to go about everything. In the mist of my praying things started to change in my life and things started to move and doors started to be opened. One of the Pastors from the River was put on my heart to go and talk to and so I did. I was so encouraged after my meeting and had the best new out look on things and was forever grateful for this Pastor. This Pastor helped me in many ways. I said to this Pastor that I wanted to go to the school but hadn’t fully decided yet. Naomi H.

But you know all about me. You know what I teach and the way I live. You know my goal in life. You know my faith, my patience, and my love. You know that I never stop trying. 11 You know about my persecutions and my sufferings. You know all the things that happened to me in Antioch, Iconium, and Lystra –the persecution I suffered in those places. But the Lord saved me from all of it. 12 Everyone who wants to live showing true devotion to God in Christ Jesus will be persecuted.  2 Timothy 3:10-12 ERV

Everyone who wants to live showing true devotion to God in Christ Jesus will be persecuted and go through hard times, but never forget that God is on your side! If you are a lukewarm, compromising Christian, the devil isn’t worried about you, but if you are a Book of Acts Christian – hot, on-fire, living a godly life, submitted to the Word and the Holy Spirit, a doer of the Word, preaching the Gospel, and obeying the Great Commission – then he will be very afraid of you. The devil will always come to try to hinder and to stop the doers of the Word – those who are obeying God – with persecution. You might as well make up your mind now to not get upset or discouraged when it happens. In fact, you should rejoice for it is a sign that you are doing the will of God!

Persecution and hardship is intended to limit your influence. Persecution can come in the form of verbal disapproval or attacks, physical attacks from people or circumstances, and/or spiritual resistance from devils and demons. The devil will try to get you to be discouraged and quit. If you are a touchy person and you take everything personally, then you won’t be able to endure to the end. Paul was just such a one who was bold for the Gospel’s sake and went through tremendous persecutions and hardships as he boldly preached and demonstrated the Word of God. Ungodly people stirred up strife against him; fellow Jews attacked him; other “Christians” questioned his integrity and lied about him; he was arrested and thrown in jail and eventually martyred for his faith – and yet he never gave up; he never quit. Persecution will never succeed if you will just never quit!

Remember Jesus Christ. He is from the family of David. After Jesus died, he was raised from death. This is the Good News that I tell people. 9 And because I tell that message, I am suffering. I am even bound with chains like someone who has really done wrong. But God’s message is not bound. 10 So I patiently accept all these troubles. I do this to help the people God has chosen so that they can have the salvation that is in Christ Jesus. With this salvation comes glory that never ends. 11 Here is a true statement: If we died with him, we will also live with him. 12 If we remain faithful even in suffering, we will also rule with him. If we refuse to say we know him, he will refuse to say he knows us. 13 If we are not faithful, he will still be faithful, because he cannot be false to himself.  2 Timothy 2:8-13 ERV

Paul was persecuted for the Gospel’s sake, not because he had done wrong. He was bound by chains, but God’s Word was not bound – he continued to preach, write letters full of God’s Word and minister to everyone he met and the Lord continued to use him. How did Paul endure all this suffering? What Jesus did for him – and all men – was so real to him; eternity was so real to him; the promise of God was so real to him; that he was willing rather to suffer anything than deny the Lord Jesus Christ!

He was standing on the promise of God that:
 
1.  If we be dead with Him, we shall live with Him.

  – Romans 6:8 KJV – Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him.

  – 2 Corinthians 5:15 KJV – And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.

2.  If we suffer, we shall also reign with Him.

  – Romans 8:17-18 KJV – And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

3.  If we deny Him, He also will deny us.

  – Mark 8:38 KJV – Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.
 
4.   If we won’t believe, He remains faithful: He cannot deny Himself.

-  Jesus is faithful. He will still be with us even when we have endured so much that it seems we have no faith left to stand. We may even give up and be faithless at times, but Jesus is still faithful to His promise to be with us “to the very end of the world/age” (Matthew 28:20). If we deny the Lord or walk away and break fellowship with Him, still He will never turn His back on us, but be ready to receive us back, should we come to our senses and turn back to Him.

And to him they agreed: and when they had called the apostles, and beaten them, they commanded that they should not speak in the name of Jesus, and let them go. 41 And they departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for his name. 42 And daily in the temple, and in every house, they ceased not to teach and preach Jesus Christ.  Acts 5:40-42 KJV

Persecution did not stop the Early Church from serving God and preaching the Gospel. They counted it an honor to receive persecution for His Name sake!

With an excitement and a great expectation of what God has for me, I started my internship in three departments: in RBI Office, Hospitality and River Kids Church .From the beginning of my internship at August 24, I decided to learn as much as I could. I am determined to put more effort for what I am going to do right now .I am determined  to receive the work of the Holy Spirit like never before in my life. My goal is to see myself growing up spiritually in many areas in my life.

The work in the RBI office is teaching me to do many practical things, that I may have ignored before. It really amazed me that there is so much more paper work to be done in order to keep office in the right position .At once; this office is responsible for whole RBI /RSW/RSB procedures. Second, the office must cooperate with all very important departments. Third, the office is for all students and must serve them with love and the other fruits of the Holy Spirit must follow as well! The students have many needs and I am learning how we as a school office can or cannot provide these needs.  In addition, I am getting some assignments to do. Some of them are easy, but some of them surprise me to see myself through them  in position without any ability to do them! However, it does not matter if I can do it or not I decide to learn, to grow up, so I keep on keeping on. I believe that God will be pleased with my progress and in Romans 8:28, He says:

“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. “

I was soul winning with the script and I was having trouble seeing the script without my glasses. But I just kept winning souls anyway. After leading a few women to the Lord I began to walk away went out take my glasses off but I didn’t have them on. I could now read clearly without my glasses.

We have had an awesome time the last two days soul winning the last two days. God healed the woman’s feet at the bus stop. Prayed with a woman who had been sexually abused and she forgave the attacker and got saved. Another man forgave himself after taking someone’s life and so many more! We were so lucky to have the team leaders that we had were able to learn how to jump on buses and witness to people.

Today we were at Petegon City Mall I met a gentleman who was a make artist .Who was a homosexual. After I prayed the salvation prayer with him, I told him again that God has a plan for his life. He began to weep .The Lord then told me to tell the man that he didn’t see him as a failure. The man began to cry and he received a healing touch from God.

Today I went to East Mesa Christian Assisted Living Center.  When we arrived, most of the residents were in the lunchroom.  We prayed with several to receive Jesus.  Then the staff said we couldn’t pray in the lunchroom, so we knocked on their doors and found a few fish and “caught them.”  We had a divine appointment with a Catholic lady on oxygen who opened her door and said in response to our question, “Yes, I am going to Heaven because ALL people as they are born are God’s children and will go to Heaven.”  She didn’t want me to pray but I contended for her soul.  I said, “Jesus loves Catholics.  Your Catholic Bible says…” and I repeated Romans 10:9-10.  I prayed with her a prayer of blessing and the sinner’s prayer.  As we finished, the medic van driver came to her door to take her to the hospital.  Hallelujah!

We stopped at Wendy’s restaurant.  I shared the script with a worker.  The young man said his dad told him all babies are born devils.  I said all babies are gifts from God.  I told him that an honest prayer would be, “Jesus, if you are the way, truth, and life, and the only way to Heaven, reveal yourself to me.”  We had a bite to eat.  As we were leaving, he thanked me. Hallelujah!  I know the Holy Spirit is working in his heart.

I went up to a man and started sharing the script, and he said, “Praise God! I know I would go to Heaven,” and he mentioned he was a pastor.  He didn’t say he was born again, so of course, I continued with the script, and he received Jesus!  In total, I prayed with 15 on the streets today.

Igniting a generation, means to set today’s generation ablaze with the fire of God which has been set in our hearts the love of God so compels you that you can’t help but tell someone.   Summer Camp meeting for me was a time of pouring out the fire of God in our youth during kid’s church.  I told the kids and they were so receptive and open to the presence of God.  The worship was powerful and the kids pressing in and the fire of God fell as everyone including the helpers was touched with the power of God.

Everyone begin to fall out under the power of the anointing and the presence of God began to saturate the hearts of every believer.  Kids were baptized with the Holy Ghost and began to speak in new tongues and the joy of the Lord filled the place.  God used me as vessel to minister to these kids on the anointing and the presence of God, to see them grasp a hold of the truth and walk in the anointing has truly been an honor and a privilege.  God is the same God, yesterday today and forever.  He changes not.  It does not matter if you’re young or old; if your heart is open to receive God can use you.

We can learn so much from those who have gone before us in history.  Faith is greatest of all principles.  God has shown me to use my faith and He will do the rest if I am just willing and obedient then He can and would if He were sought.  Children grab a hold of those so easily.  We too must become like the children and have child like faith.

Man got saved at bus stop when sharing with him the Holy Spirit came over him. He started sharing that he used to be on drugs and showed us his arms where he shot drugs and escaped the gay lifestyle. He wanted to be delivered from alcohlism. Also at the end he said he beleives he is healed of AIDS. Then he went to witness to another man. God is taking care of him. He lives in a hotel that he dosen’t have to pay for. He is on the streets but God helps him. Raised in a Christian home-knows some scripture. Many told him to be still yesterday at the bus stop and then he got saved.
