Ministers Conference 2010 – Nicole M. Testimony

This past week at Minister’s Conference was such an amazing time for me. It was my first time being able to be in both of the meetings each day and really being able to tap into the anointing even when I was working in my area of helps. This past week, I came to realize and truly appreciate being involved and committed to The River Church. I realized that I am under an incredible covering and that I get to sit under the teachings of a great and thoroughly anointed man and woman of God. Not only do I get to sow into Pastor Rodney’s ministry with my tithe and by offering my time to forward his vision, but I get to receive from all of the amazing and anointed ministers that he brings to The River Church.

 

I also learned a lot in my ministry of helps this past week and all that goes into the productions of Revival Ministries International. I was given the opportunity of running two of the cameras and even through serving in that area, I was still able to feel and sense the anointing and presence of God that fell in each meeting. One night in particular that I was on camera, I ended up getting drunk in the Holy Ghost because the power and presence of God was so strong. Even while serving, you have the opportunity to tap into the anointing and get everything out of the service that you can. I am truly blessed to have the privilege of serving and being a part of the Minister’s Conference 2010 and I would encourage ANYONE to attend and hear from awesome, anointed, and powerful men and women of God that attend and impart to us at these meetings!

With an excitement and a great expectation of what God has for me, I started my internship in three departments: in RBI Office, Hospitality and River Kids Church .From the beginning of my internship at August 24, I decided to learn as much as I could. I am determined to put more effort for what I am going to do right now .I am determined  to receive the work of the Holy Spirit like never before in my life. My goal is to see myself growing up spiritually in many areas in my life.

The work in the RBI office is teaching me to do many practical things, that I may have ignored before. It really amazed me that there is so much more paper work to be done in order to keep office in the right position .At once; this office is responsible for whole RBI /RSW/RSB procedures. Second, the office must cooperate with all very important departments. Third, the office is for all students and must serve them with love and the other fruits of the Holy Spirit must follow as well! The students have many needs and I am learning how we as a school office can or cannot provide these needs.  In addition, I am getting some assignments to do. Some of them are easy, but some of them surprise me to see myself through them  in position without any ability to do them! However, it does not matter if I can do it or not I decide to learn, to grow up, so I keep on keeping on. I believe that God will be pleased with my progress and in Romans 8:28, He says:

“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. “

Internship, what can I say it has been the most challenging thing that I have ever done so far in my walk with God. When I started my internship, I also decided to move, right before camp meeting. So I had a lot going on. Even though I had worked for the ministry for the past two years, that first morning was so different for me. Everything in the ministry was the same but I was the one that had changed. I got started right away in the department I was working in, the RBI office. There was so much that had to be done and learned.  I got to see the application process from the other side, I sent in my application three years ago and waited like crazy to find out if I got accepted or not. Working in the RBI office I have gotten to tell my testimony of how I came to school, how God is always faithful, and to pray with those that aren’t sure about coming to RBI. I stepped into full time ministry the moment I walked in as an intern. The Bible says in II Timothy 4:2 be instant in season, out of season! I am learning that I can’t have an off day because someone else is depending on me. That God has called me to this position to show others His glory and favor in my life.

The everyday stuff of working in the office has had its ups and downs, not knowing what to do all the time, that I can learn. But the hardest thing has been the hours outside of the office, because internship doesn’t end when you leave at 5. The work day maybe over but now is the time when God starts talking to you about what you said or how you treated someone. It is walking at new level of faith and trust with God. Its burning out everything that is not of Him out of you, to make me more like Him. Because at the end of the day, no matter what area I work in the goal is to be more like Him in all I do. Internship gets to the crux of who you are, shakes out all the junk, burns the flesh, BUT feeds, grows, and matures your spirit 100 fold.

Rodney Howard Browne – Maria C. Testimony

I was soul winning with the script and I was having trouble seeing the script without my glasses. But I just kept winning souls anyway. After leading a few women to the Lord I began to walk away went out take my glasses off but I didn’t have them on. I could now read clearly without my glasses.

 

We have had an awesome time the last two days soul winning the last two days. God healed the woman’s feet at the bus stop. Prayed with a woman who had been sexually abused and she forgave the attacker and got saved. Another man forgave himself after taking someone’s life and so many more! We were so lucky to have the team leaders that we had were able to learn how to jump on buses and witness to people.

 

Today we were at Petegon City Mall I met a gentleman who was a make artist .Who was a homosexual. After I prayed the salvation prayer with him, I told him again that God has a plan for his life. He began to weep .The Lord then told me to tell the man that he didn’t see him as a failure. The man began to cry and he received a healing touch from God.

Today I went to East Mesa Christian Assisted Living Center.  When we arrived, most of the residents were in the lunchroom.  We prayed with several to receive Jesus.  Then the staff said we couldn’t pray in the lunchroom, so we knocked on their doors and found a few fish and “caught them.”  We had a divine appointment with a Catholic lady on oxygen who opened her door and said in response to our question, “Yes, I am going to Heaven because ALL people as they are born are God’s children and will go to Heaven.”  She didn’t want me to pray but I contended for her soul.  I said, “Jesus loves Catholics.  Your Catholic Bible says…” and I repeated Romans 10:9-10.  I prayed with her a prayer of blessing and the sinner’s prayer.  As we finished, the medic van driver came to her door to take her to the hospital.  Hallelujah!

 

We stopped at Wendy’s restaurant.  I shared the script with a worker.  The young man said his dad told him all babies are born devils.  I said all babies are gifts from God.  I told him that an honest prayer would be, “Jesus, if you are the way, truth, and life, and the only way to Heaven, reveal yourself to me.”  We had a bite to eat.  As we were leaving, he thanked me. Hallelujah!  I know the Holy Spirit is working in his heart.

 

I went up to a man and started sharing the script, and he said, “Praise God! I know I would go to Heaven,” and he mentioned he was a pastor.  He didn’t say he was born again, so of course, I continued with the script, and he received Jesus!  In total, I prayed with 15 on the streets today.
